Paulina Mielech, European Movie Star and Film Producer, started her acting career at the age of 13 when she starred in a Canadian TV series "Legendes du Monde". Since then she appeared in many films all over Europe and in the United States including Germany, Hungary, Japan, Canada, and other countries.
Paulina studied in a very well known and prestigious University of Film, Theatre, and Television in Lodz - studying acting and history of art. She has a masters degree in the History of European Theatre. Paulina speaks fluent English, Russian, Polish, and German.
During and after college she continued her acting career as a film and theater actress and she had her own column in a film magazine where she interviewed famous and powerful men of culture and politics. She produced and played a lead role in the TV movie "Actresses" which was very well received by critics and won many awards. Paulina appeared on the covers of numerous European magazines.
A few years ago Paulina moved to Los Angeles where she lives and continues her career. She recently appeared in movies with such great actors such as Jody Foster and Bill Pullman. She worked with directors like Robert Zemeckis and George Miller.
Her latest productions are: family comedies "Cyber Mutt" where she played one of the leads, the TV movie "Breakfast with Dick and Dorothy", a comedy drama set in Los Angeles called "A Man Is Mostly Water" with Bill Pullman and a comedy "Pit Stop".
Recently Paulina launched her own production company called Somersault Films, with a main focus on the quality of material and great story ideas. Her company is currently producing together with Chesler - Perlmutter Productions a romantic comedy "Kiss & Tell" and a rural drama "Fast Time". This year Paulina appeared in a European comedy "Hotel Grand".
Paulina just produced a family movie "Every Second Counts" with Stephen Collins for Hallmark Channel.
Currently Paulina and her Company Somersault Films is working in a partnership with Apple Film on a comedy "Crazy Little Thing". Somersault Films along with Chessler Perlmutter Productions are in development of several projects together. Additionally, Paulina expanded her production relationship with a major European finance company to develop movies which will be produced solely in Europe.
